"We have options like the Chevy Volt, offering up to 250 miles on a single charge, and even vehicles with a 500-mile range." This range is more than sufficient for most daily commutes and even longer trips, as demonstrated by the example of Cincinnati to Lexington, Kentucky, a round trip of over 200 miles.
